In August, 2009, we started considering our next adoption. On July 21, 2008, we adopted Kathleen Si Lan from Guangxi Zhong Autonomous Region of southwestern China. She's settled very well into Idaho life and we knew she needed a brother or a sister. So we started praying and looking at the Chinese waiting children waiting for a forever family. Kathleen soon let mommy and daddy know she wanted a brother.
Jonathan David Yuan Tao waits for us in Nanchang, Jiangxi, China. On April 12, we received word that our Travel Approval (China's seal of approval on coming) was granted and our appointment with the U.S. Consulate had been made for May 17. We leaped for joy that we would soon be in China to be united with our son! With tearful eyes, thanked God for allowing us to have a son. We are so thankful to the Chinese Government for allowing us to give Jonathan a forever family.
